{"id":26962,"date":"2022-02-15T09:36:27","date_gmt":"2022-02-15T09:36:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cd-center.org\/?p=26962"},"modified":"2022-05-11T04:13:21","modified_gmt":"2022-05-11T04:13:21","slug":"new-entry-requirement-into-cambodia-update-on-omicron","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cd-center.org\/kh\/new-entry-requirement-into-cambodia-update-on-omicron\/","title":{"rendered":"New Entry Requirement into Cambodia: Update on Omicron"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<h3><strong>New Entry Requirement into Cambodia: Update on Omicron<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>As of January 21, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/199402103564922\/posts\/2104243266414120\/?d=n\">the Royal Government of Cambodia has made an adjustment on the entry requirement to Cambodia as the effort to reduce the chain of transmission of Omicron variants into the community.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Ministry of Health of Cambodia has made an announcement on the entry and treatment guideline as the following:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirement<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Foreign travelers and tourists are subjected to conduct COVID-19 Rapid Test at the port of entry and must wait 15-20mns for the result.<\/li>\n<li><strong>If the result is negative<\/strong>, all travelers and tourists will be exempted from quarantine obligation and travel freely across Cambodia.\u00a0For the unvaccinated travelers and tourists will be subjected to <strong>mandatory 14 days quarantine requirement<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>\n<div><span lang=\"EN-US\"><strong>If the result is positive<\/strong>, foreign travelers and tourists will go through PCR Test and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.afro.who.int\/news\/why-genomic-sequencing-crucial-covid-19-response\">Genomic Sequencing<\/a> to\u00a0distinguish between imported and locally transmitted infections and shall be put in isolation by complying to the following measures:<\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li><strong><strong>Foreigners:<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/strong>Receive the treatment from the hotels or the embassy residence or the personal residence of choice, without being subjected to receive the treatment from the \u00a0MoH&#8217;s designated hospital.<strong><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Cambodians:<br \/>\n<\/strong>Allow home-treatment, including the Alpha, Delta and Omicron cases by complying to the Standard Operating Procedure (SOPs) for the at-Home Management, Care and Treatment of COVID-19 Patients.
