About the Event
The Cambodia Development Center in collaboration with the Faculty of Humanities and Sociology of the Royal University of Phnom Penh has organized a special discussion on German philosophy, the first topic of the book “A Brief History of German Philosophy” by Vittorio Hosle Discussed by Prof. Dr. Un Leang, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Sociology of the Royal University of Phnom Penh on Friday, May 24, 2024.
In this special discussion, the speakers shared their experiences of the project process of translating German philosophy books, key theories of key German philosophers such as Immanuel Kant, Friedrich Nietzsche, Friedrich Hegel, and other philosophers related German ideas to contemporary issues, especially the influence of German philosophy on higher education.
