About the Event
Students transitioning from high school to university oftentimes encounter a certain set of challenges while trying to adapt to all the changes, expected or unexpected, in terms of lifestyle, learning style, academic challenges and more. Those challenges take various forms. Organized by the Cambodia Development Center, the Seminar on the Preparation for University Life aims to help inform and equip fresh high school graduates and new university students with some significant skills that could help tackle or minimize those challenges.
Objectives:
The seminar aims at achieving the following objectives:
- To help fresh high school graduates be aware of the differences between life in high school and in university
- To provide guidance to high school graduates and first-year university students on what to expect and what to prepare to be successful at university
- To help smoothen the transition process for students from high school to university.
