Ralys is an intern at Cambodia Development Center. Currently, she is a sophomore student majoring in Media Management at the Department Media and Communication, Royal University of Phnom Penh.
In 2018, she was chosen to be a part of her school media team which provided her abundance of opportunities and experience in the media field due to her enthusiastic nature. In late 2019, she participated in a youth program called “Youth Empowerment” that was funded by the USAID and Transparency International Cambodia. Additionally, she was a sub-leader in a project called “Let Take A Minute” that was run by her own team. From 2019 until now, Ralys is a trainer of Habitat Young Leader Build under the Leadership Academy Training of Trainer program. She is enthusiastic and likes to expose herself to social work. Besides being trilingual in Khmer, English, and Thai languages, she has experiences in various fields such as writing proposals for sponsorship, filming, and creative video editing.
It is always her dream to pursue a Master’s or even Doctorate degree in Communication abroad to expand her knowledge as well as to gain new experience and a better look at the social context of other countries. To contribute back to the sustainable and peaceful development of her country is one of Ralys’ goals. Ralys is always eager to chase after her dream as she believes that the harder she works for her dream, the greater she will feel when she accomplishes it.
