Biography

Vicheka was an intern at Cambodia Development Center. Presently, she is a sophomore student pursuing her study in two major fields; i.e., Media Management at the Department of Media and Communication and English studies in the Department of English of the Institute of Foreign Language, Royal University of Phnom Penh.

In 2018, Vicheka and her team were selected to run a project called “Fake News” hosted by ROMENEA and sponsored by Transparency International Cambodia, and this project was aimed to sensitize netizens and Cambodian people to fake news as well as to educate them on how to combat or take action against those type of news. In 2019, She was chosen to be a Cambodian delegate to participate in the Cambodia-Vietnam Culture Exchange Festival under the topic of “The Role of Young Journalists and Youth.”
